Did you read Domino Magazine back in the day (as in over the last few years)? If you did, you were probably crushed like me when Condé Nast pulled the plug on our fav. magazine (Why Condé Nast, Why?!?). Sad day. So when I heard about a new-ish shelter magazine that was supposedly similar to Domino, I was anxious to check it out. And let me just say– Oh.My.Goodness., Lonny is amazing! Friends, meet Lonny magazine!
The awesome team at Lonny is filling the shelter magazine void by offering a gorgeous online magazine chock-full of fun finds and accessible design. *After doing a little searching, it’s all clear to me now: Lonny is the fabulous creation of former Domino staffers including Michelle Adams, former Domino Market Editor and Patrick Cline, former Domino Photographer. So what is Lonny, exactly? Well, you will have to find out for yourself. But here’s a little snippet from Lonny:
“At Lonny, we value independent thinking and believe not in following trends but rather in making choices that lead to happiness. We believe that good design and affordable design can coexist and that true inspiration can be found in the teeniest of homes or in the grandest of spaces.”
To that, I say preach on! We’ve missed you so, Domin- oh, I mean Lonny. :) Plus, right now Lonny magazine is free, and it’s online. So no excuse for not reading it, friends! Now what do you think of Lonny? What magazines are you loving?
