*Guilt-free Shopping with iGive*

We couldn’t be more excited about Blog Action Day 2008 which kicks off tomorrow, October 15. If you have a blog, please join us as we work together to eliminate poverty!

In preparation for Blog Action Day, we learned about a neat shopping site, iGive, where purchases benefit your chosen charity. More than 700 stores participate in the iGive program, including great ones like Apple Store, Banana Republic, Barnes & Noble, eBags.com, Franklin Covey, and RedEnvelope. Simply register for free on iGive.com, choose a cause to support and start shopping! Each participating store will automatically donate a specific percentage at no additional cost to you when you make purchases via iGive. Below are a few items we like at Franklin Covey via iGive:

Who knew shopping could be charity work? :)

That’s the good news of the day! Shopping is indeed a bliss if connected with charity. I’m glad they thought of that, and especially that the blogsphere could contribute to a better world!

Hi kpriss, isn’t that awesome? We are going to shop through iGive as much as possible- it’s so easy and just like normal shopping only better! Such an easy way to make a difference. Thanks for saying hi, and have a great day! :)
